Login to the Luminis TEST Environment (Only to be used by Luminis Testing group)

Login to the Luminis TEST site with your user ID (ex. JDOE). This is the same as your Banner ID. Your User ID is not case sensitive.

• Your password for Luminis has been set to your email password as of 8-05-08. When you log into Luminis the first time, use whatever your email password was 8-5-08 as your Luminis password.
• There are certain characters that are illegal for Luminis passwords. If your email password contained any of those characters, it was changed to contain a * instead. The illegal characters are @ & ( ) , < > ' ; = # {}: $ or [space] therefore any time those characters appeared in a password, it was changed to a * . For example if your email password was Dwag@g=er1 it would have been changed Dwag*g*er1 in Luminis. This change will NOT affect your email password.
• When you log into Luminis, the system may require you to change your Luminis password. Luminis requires that the password be complex. When you log into Luminis the system will change your INB password to match your Luminis password. (if you don't use INB then this will not affect you). If you change your Luminis password pick one you can remember. Having it reset will be complicated for you.

Luminis has special rules to help you create a secure password. Those rules are:

• Maximum length = 20
• Minimum length = 8
• At least one letter
• At least one number
• At least one of the following ^ * _ - + [ ]| ' ? / . ~
• Can't use the following @ & ( ) ,< > ' ; = # { } : $

• If you forget your password, contact Banner Support at 809-5395. Proper identification must be provided to request a password reset.
